The agenda

|

Humanity stands at a defining moment in history. We are confronted with a perpetuation of disparities between and within nations, a worsening of poverty, hunger, ill health and illiteracy, and the continuing deterioration of the ecosystems on which we depend for our well-being. However, integration of environment and development concerns and greater attention to them will lead to the fulfilment of basic needs, improved living standards for all, better protected and managed ecosystems and a safer, more prosperous future. No nation can achieve this on its own; but together we can - in a global partnership for sustainable development.

Comes from the blood of my ancestors
And that is all i stand up for and truly believe

Doom, dust, gone, distance, miles, journey, ever, forever,
Angel, sky, plane, missile, moon, sun, death, heaven
Pistol, water, rain, river, fountain, coin, heads, fever,
Feet, travel, ride, distance, miles, journey, ever, forever
This game goes on, ever, forever, ever, forever
Boy, it’s time to decide which side you are on
Some men crave women, some men crave gold, and some crave nothing at all
Some trees lean left, some trees lean right, and some stand still and whisper to the wind
And life goes on and on and on
So decide which side you are on, oh boy please
Cause life goes on and on, it is
It is a wave, don’t drift away, don’t drift away, stay by my side and sing
So come and dance with me
Because life goes on and on, it never waits

Guide my feet, this voice is calling me
Stand by me while I run this race
Hold my hand while I run this race
When I run this race I am, I am, your child
Can’t keep it unless you let it go
Guide me, guide me, I am blind
I sleep with my fists clenched tight
When I don’t lie awake all night
Can’t keep it unless you let it go

When will I discover, we’ve been swimming in the mud,
will I seek for a new lover, or be crippled deep inside
When will I discover, they will never let me go, will I be surprised, or was I singing along
But this song, sounds damn wrong
It is so easy for people stories to be covered up, because not only we do not talk to each other anymore
But there are so many of us, and we all speak at once,
We all ride the same wagon, destination is unknown
Sing along, drowned voices, sing, how much longer to the surface?
We deny, it’s a denial, to be part of the plan,
We refuse, it’s a refusal to participate in the culture of waste and destruction,
It’s a real riot not being wasteful, it’s a real riot
Say no, we won’t sing along
How much longer to the surface? How much longer to the fun?
How much longer to the days we won’t be apart? How much longer of us drowning every night?
How much longer till there is an end in sight?
Oh my lover, they will never let us go
You are not rid of me, because I am opposed to you
Three Six Four Two I Go To The ZOO (???)

Interlude

|

For thousands of years, human beings had screwed up and trashed and crapped and spoiled on this planet
And now history expected me to clean up, like I am supposed to clean up after everyone
I have to wash out and flatten my soup cans and account for every drop of used motor oil
And I have to foot the bill for nuclear waste and buried gasoline tanks
And landfilled toxic sludge dumped a generation before I was born
But all these were done before I was born
Now what else is left? Add government debt
Fuck what the fuck oldasses ran up
It’s about time for a goddamned reset
I want to burn the Louvre.
I’d do the Elgin Marbles with a sledgehammer and wipe my ass with the Mona Lisa.
This is my world, now.
This is my world, my world, and those ancient people are dead
So forget about tomorrow
Take it all today
Forget about the check
We’ll get hell to pay

I can feel it every time that I breathe, I can feel it every time that it’s moving
Will I ever understand oh what it means? Am I the one that moves it?
Why is it said that an alarm clock is going off when really it’s coming on?
Like an afar, distant memory, blurred mist is rising
Remarks and impressions appear aggrandized, open your eyes gradually
It’s coming on, it’s coming on, if it’s coming on, I am already awaken
They don’t know I am not here, if I wave and smile everything passes
Reality slips on by, reality slips through me
Hello Goodbye, Hello Goodbye, Hello Goodbye, Hello Goodbye
It’s coming on, it’s coming on, it’s coming and I am mad, I will not take this anymore

Our Democracy protects you when you are sleeping
You can speak as long as you speak what you’re told
Attached to the ground, an earthquake lost its enemy, fell upon you, ruined your sleeping
But you’re strong, never miss a heartbeat, just damn strong, never waste a kiss, never waste a feeling
In your infancy gave you pills to shallow
In your childhood told you not to play around
In your early teens dancing with your shadow
So you got here drowning in your silence
Well it’s about time, you come and see what lies beneath, what lies inner
The shape of gloom was meant for you; in factories robots decide your thinking
Clocks with no hands, never know what time it is, Still want to see, still want to hear it
One more time, one more time, he who talks loud says nothing
In your ignorance you will never feel this
In your vanity you don’t care about dying
Cause you’re living as long as you are buying
Well dear plastic it’s all that you are made of
I am so happy, so happy
Each day I struggle as my dignity demands
I am in love with the glowing
I am not like you, numb like you

Are you going to fight with me?
When will we start the fight?
Being cattle is fun!
If you trade freedom for security you deserve neither
So fight!

The will to live
02:40
|

In an existence that becomes more meaningless by the day, what if you were to find out that this entity known as man has been so aggressively manipulated and shaped into something completely alienated from what it is supposed to be, what if you were to find out that all desires, worries, fears, feelings and the very perception of the world is constantly guided by the will of a handful of powerful individuals, what if you were to find out the exact words used, the faces of those MEN, the true concept of the GAME and the ways they are attacking the foundation of what being human is all about, what if you were to find out that the feeling of hopelessness one bears inside is an implant, that the travesty known as life was always intended to seem meaningless and the attempt to interact with the world is to be presented as childish and impossible, wouldn’t all that make life worth living?

The less broken have to take care of the more broken,
But where do we fit in
A look, a sigh, a chance to begin
To care without commitment, to commit without a care
Dare we say we’ll be there?
Don’t judge me for the way I seem
The mask I wear is real, it is just my skin
Please do realize
The broken need some time to heal
Dare we say we’ll be there?
To calm our brothers fears, to ease the pain inside
Yes we will be there

It’s too late, we did not do enough!!
Indeed, a bold statement. Concerning our lives, consuming our lives!
We know this white knight shit is getting tiresome. We want to belong and participate.
We need a direction to follow. We need to prove ourselves.
We need to live in peace, and enrich each other.
Unfortunately, we do not live like this; we have never lived like this.
We live in fear, we die at each other’s hands, we go to jail,
we are scared, and we need a form of escapism.
We bury our heads, we talk of concerns that may afflict us,
we are confused of how to help ourselves, we cannot see a way out; we are doomed!
If enough people gather on peaceable protest, will we survive?
There are so many like me. And we desire to be, we desire to live, we desire to breathe,
oh we desire!
We are fathers and mothers, we have children. We have a duty to take care of our own.
We will do anything to ensure that happens. Anything! Anything!
We murder, we slander, we pick up guns, we are patient, we cheat, lie and steal.
We give love to our children we create. We fight to prepare the way for them.
We do not do enough. We do not do enough. We do not do enough. It is never enough!
We need more commitment. We need more involvement. We need more!
We are prepared to give our lives, to make sure our children live in a free society.
We know nothing of mercy; we know nothing of compassion, understanding and empathy.
You are my brothers and sisters. I will defend you. At any cost! At any cost! At any cost!

Fading

Well I did what I was told to the extreme, so where is the prize I’ve been looking for?
I have proved that I am the best, at doing work not needed be done
And here I am, in a world that is guided by fear, the boogie man is back
A world suppressing the uniqueness that lies inside, inside us, inside each one of us
My youth is long gone still I don’t know where to stand
My youth is long gone, what are the things that I have learned?
We are more than, robotic bookshelves, conditioned to blurt out facts we were taught in school
We are so special, every human, on this planet is so special and unique and cool
My youth is long gone still I don’t know where to stand
My youth is long gone, what are the things that I have learned?
I am not a worker, I am a thinker, a worker drowns in repetition
I will not settle, for the part I was set, to be the observer while my life is
Fading
We deserve much more
We deserve the world to be a peaceful place
My heart is yours, I hope you understand, that my heart is yours
And when I’ll strike him, and watch the blood flow
My heart will be yours

I remember the sky, the shivering cold,
The stars in your hands, the dust on the wall,
The earth and the moon, your hand in my hand,
Everything was blue, yes the truth was bent
We sung along, sweet oblivion,
Your whispers would travel to my sun
Can you remember? Will I forget?
The river was yellow. The truth was bent
I’ve grown very cold, it’s time to bury her
Cynicism is a very lonely virtue
